We got the rebound so that was a good little swing trade for those who took it. I think we have more downside around the corner. People are getting their teeth kicked in from inflation and the trade volumes have never gotten back to what they were last cycle. Even after Ripple Labs settled the lawsuit with the SEC for $125 Million, XRP hasn't went as crazy as some people thought it would. It shot up about 14% but I don't think it is going to suddenly shoot way to all-time highs. I could see it going there during the last blow off top for this cycle but some of these price predictions of XRP going to hundreds of dollars seems absurd to me. I am glad that XRP has been freed up though because at least it has fast block times and it can be used in certain situations to send money around. It is another path in and out. I will probably still use Dogecoin and Litecoin though for that.
I think Bitcoin is going to retest these recent lows and could plunge to around $45K in my opinion. This will crush the alts as well and could be a good time to pick up some bags either for long term or for another quick spring trade. Donald Trump and Robert Kennedy Jr have already announced their plans and their support for Bitcoin and it is still a few more months until the election to see what happens. Before then I suspect we get taken straight down to pound town.
