OKX Wallet has integrated support for the TON (The Open Network) blockchain, marking the 100th mainnet integration for the wallet platform.
The addition of TON, which is associated with the Telegram messaging app, comes as OKX Wallet continues to expand its "on-chain, any chain" philosophy by providing access to a wide variety of tokens and protocols.
OKX's Chief Marketing Officer Haider Rafique noted that TON has been a "breakout hit" with a strong community behind it, and that the utility and gamification features of the network have driven significant user interest and engagement. Trading for TON on the OKX centralized exchange tends to increase whenever new gamification features are introduced, as users are excited about the ease of participating in network incentives and programs.
Prior to adding TON support, OKX Wallet had expanded its capabilities by integrating other blockchains like NEAR, Blast, and zkLink Nova. The wallet also recently integrated Uniswap Labs' trading APIs and launched a platform for Web3 game developers.
