Crypto derivatives exchange BitMEX has launched a new options trading service in partnership with PowerTrade.
The new options platform combines BitMEX's deep liquidity with PowerTrade's trader-centric options solution to provide traders with reliable and seamless access to options on assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, XRP, and Solana.
BitMEX is aiming to capture a significant market share of the crypto options trading niche, which has been dominated by Deribit since 2020. To incentivize users, BitMEX is offering zero fees on options trading throughout May and a $20 onboarding bonus for the first 1,000 new options traders. The exchange will also offer rewards based on trading volume and referrals.
Any verified BitMEX user can access the new options platform, which is fully integrated into the BitMEX trading experience, eliminating the need to set up a new account or transfer assets.
