Bybit has recently launched a new product called Pre-Market Perpetuals, allowing users to trade perpetual contracts on upcoming tokens before their official market launch. This innovative feature aims to provide traders with early access to new contracts, enabling them to engage with potential future values and mitigate entry cost increases due to price volatility at launch.
Leverage: Traders can place orders with up to 5x leverage prior to the official listing of a token. If the specified price is met, orders will be executed at the opening price once the contract is listed, with positions seamlessly transferred to the new contract.
Risk Management: The Pre-Market Perpetuals offer a significant risk management tool, allowing traders to hedge spot positions and secure profits effectively. This is particularly beneficial for those employing short-selling strategies or engaging in pre-market spot trading.
