Assalamu Alaikum

How are you all? Today I will discuss with you about What is Ethereum? How does it work?.I will try to present my experience.  I am young and have very little experience so please excuse any mistakes.
What is Ethereum?
In crypto's own words, Ethereum is "a platform for money and a new kind of application," with thousands of games and financial apps running on top of the Ethereum blockchain. The crypto has become so popular that other crypto coins also run on its network.
It is distributed in the sense that everyone participating in the Ethereum network has an identical copy of this ledger, allowing them to see all past transactions.

It is decentralized in that the network is not managed or controlled by any centralized entity – instead, it is managed by all distributed ledger holders. Blockchain uses cryptography to secure the transaction network and verify transactions. Ether, Ethereum's native token, can be used to buy and sell goods and services just like Bitcoin. But what's unique about Ethereum is that users can create applications that "run" on the blockchain like software that "runs" on a computer.
Ether and Ethereum: What's the Difference?
You can use Ether as a digital currency, investment or store of value in financial transactions. "These can be simple movements of funds, but they can also be complex transactions that can do anything from exchanging assets to taking out a loan to acquire a piece of digital art," ., People can host applications on the Ethereum blockchain. It gives users control over their data and they have open use of the app because there is no central authority managing everything. One of the most intriguing use cases involving Ethereum is a self-executing contract, or so-called smart contract. Unlike traditional contracts, no lawyers are needed: parties code the contract on the Ethereum blockchain. Once the contract conditions are met, it self-executes and delivers ether to the appropriate party. What is Ethereum? How does it work?

Ethereum (ETH) is the second most popular cryptocurrency after Bitcoin. There are some distinct differences between Ethereum and real crypto. Unlike Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum is intended to be much more than just a medium of exchange or a store of value. Instead, Ethereum is a decentralized computing network built on blockchain technology.
