Sometimes we see companies offering a large airdrop before launching their crypto coin. Why does it actually give? What does the company gain by offering a large amount of freebies to users who sign up for free? Or is there a possibility of loss?
We know that a project is more likely to be successful if it is communicated to a large number of people before it is launched. Successful promotion strategies can make a new project very popular. That's why companies that have launched crypto coins or projects mainly give large amounts of airdrops.
When X coin is distributed among users through social media through airdrop, that userbase gets to know about the new coin. After the coin is launched, most of the users sell it. But one part holds them back. Here both users holding coins and users selling coins are introduced to a new project. Many more will know through them. And this is how this airdrop promotion technique works successfully.
A community has already been created through the airdrop of a crypto coin. Note that users of this newly created community on various social media platforms discuss the coins they hold.
