Most of the crypto community is aware of the case that has happened between the Binance exchange and the US government. The exchange also made a settlement with the government by paying a huge amount but seems like this settlement has not gone through well because at least the current situation is indicating this.
The exchange founder has been stuck in the US whereas this was not expected after this much of a settlement but seems something is still going to happen. While it is unknown truth that this is one of the biggest settlements in the crypto business at least the exchange has paid such a big amount to the government to compensate for the lawsuit. For sure there has been some provision else the exchange wouldn't have gone to this level but it also creates a question that how the government is doing this when the settlement is already done.
Changpeng Zhao was set to return to the UAE, where his wife and children live, but a district judge stayed this part of his bond release for now.
It's too early to say anything that what is going to happen but hopefully fair practices will be followed by the US authorities and that too when the exchange founder is quite cooperative. This exchange has never done anything wrong with user funds however running such a big company is not an easy thing and we can't deny that this has contributed well to the entire crypto ecosystem. Some wrong practices are applied by the exchange and for that, the founder has admitted his mistake and is ready to pay whatever it takes to get over this.
This is one of the news where we need to keep a tab to see how things are progressing but I believe the community is expecting that the exchange founder should not be treated this way. Because he has been cooperative since the beginning so for sure there is a better way to deal with him.
Thank you
