A record of $80 billion in stealth! Is Tron now the next king after Ethereum?

How are you guys? I hope you are all having a great day and are keeping up with the crypto market. Today, while digging through market news and various data, I found an interesting thing that I couldn't help but share with you. We usually talk more about the price of Bitcoin or the gas fee of Ethereum, but behind it, the 'TRON' network has quietly built its own empire, which many may not have noticed. My writing today is about that topic.

I was recently reading and analysing a report by 'Arcom Intelligence' very carefully. A surprising piece of information came up. Tron has now officially established itself as the second-largest stablecoin network in the world. Can you imagine? Currently, this network has a stablecoin supply of more than $ 80 billion. Tron is now right after Ethereum. After going through the report, I saw that about $20 billion is being transacted on this network every day, and more than 2 million transfers are being completed. While other networks tend to falter when the market is down, Tron's growth graph was on the rise even during the bad times of 2022-23.

Naturally, you may wonder, why are people using Tron when there is such a large network like Ethereum? I tried to dig a little deeper and find the reason for this. The main reason is cost savings and speed. My research shows that when we send a stablecoin to Ethereum, we have to pay an average fee of about $3.73. However, doing the same thing on Tron costs only 9 cents! In short, transactions at the price of water. Moreover, Tron's confirmation time or speed is about four times faster than Ethereum. Naturally, Tron will be popular in countries like Asia, where we keep track of every penny and prefer fast transactions.

Another interesting thing I noticed is that a large portion of this huge amount of Tron transactions is going to centralised exchanges. Tron is now the first choice of traders or ordinary users for moving funds, especially on platforms like Binance. My personal observation is that Tron may not be for very complex DeFi projects like Ethereum, but it has made a strong position for itself as a money transaction or 'settlement layer'. So, Tron is going to be the best option for those who want to transact USDT at a low cost in the future.

Stay well, everyone. Talk to you again in the next update!
