Hi friends! how are you doing? Welcome to my blog, it's super good to have you back here. I trust you got value from my last post. I bring to you another interesting content, one that I believe you would find interesting as usual. In my previous post, we explored the concept "SleepFi", you can check out my blog to read through if you haven't.
Today, we would be looking at **Regen** in the crypto world... it's actually another topic of interest I feel y'all should be enlightened on.I hold the belief that many of us ain't familiar with it. Anyway we are going to delve deeper into in today post.
|**Introduction**|

The crypto and blockchain world is just so vast, bigger and wider than the narrow view we used to have about it because of the innovative ideas and stuffs that is being introduced into it every now and then...The Defi space stem out of it and many other niche that are thriving today.
Few weeks back we discussed a topic titled Defi Degens, an interesting topic at that where we talked about folks who take unreasonable high level risk in a bit to make profit. I mean investors who invest blindly into project that could collapse in hours. But today we want to consider something that looks like the inverse of this set of people. Let's get into it.
|**What is Refi Regens**|

Regens is a name carved out for a particular kind of people in the ReFi space who have aims and objective along a particular line. It's not a standard term though, it just a term used in classifying these set of people, more like and identity.

Simply put, Regens are investors in the Regenerative Finance (ReFi) space, who takes delight in investing in tokens and joining communities that are after positive environmental impact via Blockchain technology. The impact we are talking about here includes revitalizing the earth i.e agriculture, fixing issues around unfavorable climate change and so on.
If am to summarize my definition above, I would say, Refi is a niche that aims to reward investors who prioritize sustainable agricultural/eco-friendly practices and combat the saturation of carbon emissions which leads to unfavorable climatic condition around us. In order words, it's a market place for agric related activities and carbon credit.
I think at this point, I need to mention that we have what we call the **Regen Network** which is a decentralized Blockchain based protocol that runs with the idea I have clearly spelt out above. It has it native token called **REGEN** which it uses to incentivize those who buy into the Regenerative idea.
|**Who are the kind of investors in this niche|

From the definition I have given early you should be able to guess some of the people that are likely to be ardent supporters or investors in this niche. There are those who are after the improvement of our environment such as farmers, environmentalists, sustainability advocates, crypto enthusiast and traders of carbon credit. These are the kind of folks you find in this niche.

Funny enough, the Regen Network I mentioned earlier was formed by these kind of individuals in year 2017. They had this passion and unwavering concern for the various challenges faced in our environment which includes high energy consumption, excess carbon emissions etc and came up with this initiative to address it.
Their goal is actually to live in a world where eco-friendly activities can be taken seriously and one of the viable way to achieve this is by leveraging on Blockchain and cryptocurrency to bot power the initiative and create a reward system for those who buy into this idea.

I believe by now we understand what Regen/ReFi is and how it operates. What a good way to be incentivized for prioritizing eco-friendly environment. You might also want to explore this niche for your profiting.
