Hi friends! how are you doing? Welcome to my blog, it's super good to have you back here. I trust you got value from my last post. I bring to you another interesting content, one that I believe you would find interesting as usual. In my previous post, we explored the concept "Fiat Gateway", you can check out my blog to read through if you haven't.
Today, we would be looking at **Brave Browser**, what it is and what it stands for... it's actually another topic of interest I stumbled upon and felt like sharing with y'all. I hope you guys learnt one or two things from this write-up.

We have enjoyed the use of chrome, Firefox, safari and a host of others when it comes to surfing the internet. No doubt they have served well and am not even here to discredit them for their amazing services over the years. Well am not also saying they are perfect in all their doings and operations.

These and many more are some of the downside but the fact is their advantage sure outweighs their disadvantages.
These downside is what Brave Browser decided to leverage on and this has made it become an household name. We would be discussing more about this as we proceed.

Brave browser is an open source web browser that is focused on giving it user maximum privacy while on the browser.
To many, it's a viable alternative browser to the already existing browsers we have such as chrome, Firefox and others, In fact folks out there believes it's faster in giving search result and the reason for this is not far fetched.
It doesn't allow unnecessary ads on it. It removes ads from all the website visited via the browser, these ad are then replaced by the once chosen by brave itself and not just some random ads that generates money for all these other browsers through their advertisers. Not only does brave remove ads, they also ensure that ad trackers are not on their browser.
This is the star feature for them, these ad trackers is what invades people's privacy by tracking their activities and behavior which is tantamount to invading people's space and privacy without their knowledge. This is one of the key features which makes brave stand out as a privacy-focused chain.
|**A brief History of Brave Browser**|

Brave browsers was created by a programmer called Brendan Eich in year 2016, this web based browser gained popularity in 2019 with over 8.7 million monthly active users and then in 2020 the number increased significantly to over 16 million active user.
Brendan Eich is also a co-founder of the popular Mozilla Firefox browser. So we shouldn't be suprised he came up with this amazing web based browser which is on another level. Brave Browser is an open-source and it's built using the Google open-source code called Chromium.
This is the major reason why it supports chrom-native browser extensions.The most fascinating aspect is that this browser comes with a wallet that help you keep your earnings for using brave browser.

I guess I just bursted your bubbles...yeah! You can earn while using this browser, you could also support websites and content creators with your earnings. So basically you earn crypto tokens called Basic Attention Token (BAT). You could decide to also withdraw them into an external wallet where you can do with it whatever you want.
