The first thing that comes to mind, or at least to me, when we talk about adoption is children finding a home, but when you think about it, adoption goes far beyond that. It encompasses people, animals, ideas, and even these days, cryptocurrencies. I believe that adopting is essentially about opening your mind to new changes. It's about being willing to receive and give, without knowing the consequences, with the simple conviction that it's done from the heart and with faith
In our family, we're always willing to help, within our means, and quite by accident, as they say in Argentina, we ended up with five dogs and currently have two cats. Most were adopted, and others we chose ourselves. I feel that, in the case of pets, adoption is an altruistic gesture, driven by the desire to care for and accompany them. As for human beings—and I should clarify that this has never happened to me—I imagine it's a process full of emotions, laws, and above all, assuming extreme responsibility. I believe adoption is an act of pure love and, above all, empathy. I wholeheartedly applaud those who consciously make the decision to choose or offer opportunities to others.
Another way to look at this issue is as giving the unknown a chance, betting on the new, opening ourselves up to uncertainty. I believe that the adoption of cryptocurrencies is already happening and, sooner rather than later, will become a part of our daily lives. I think that tokenized circular economies are steadily and securely gaining ground, almost without asking permission. I believe that when we have the ability to pay with our native currency, steem, or failing that, with SBD, it will be a significant evolution for the entire ecosystem.
