Telegram is popular messaging service out there on the web. They also have their own blockchain and the crypto coin named TON. This is allowing them to do the transactions on their chain and the monetization, ads and the transfer to the chain. So a lot of things are being done on the chain of TON blockchain.
Recently the owners of the Telegram and the blockchain team announced how the TON coin is being used to monetize the messages app. And this would help the app to get monetized the more users are using it on their chain. It would be interesting to see how the channels and groups would be usable in upcoming monetization update.

How does the Telegram monetization works?
Let's assume a scenario where you have a group or broadcast channel. And there are 100K users subscribed to it. And they view the messages that are being sent to the channel. And that is where the ads would be sent. And the views on those sponsored ads would be worth making use of as well.
In such case say when you reach a specific threshold of the revenue say 52% is given to you and rest are taken by the revenue system so its like share of the ad revenue. And you would be getting that in the token named TON. So that would come to your address and you don't have to worry about checks, paypal etc. It is going to be income out of the blockchain and the telegram group or channel.
In short your job would be to do the work with channel growth. And if you can do that it would earn you a good income. And most likely that would also form a good direction for your income there. Most likely your income would appreciate if you have the engaging telegram channel. So take some risk and create the telegram channel or the group.
