One of the most dangerous things that shows like the Card-ass-ians is that they teach people to flaunt their wealth. In the world of actual rich people, the Card-ass-ians are acting like brokees. Nothing i have seen from them shows any understanding of business or wealth.
As an example, one of the Card-ass-ians is going to law school. This is to show the television audience that she is smart. When, to almost all rich people (if they ever took the time to watch the show) they would say that this is a silly move (many would say it is a stupid move) Because, you don't need to understand law to get business done, you hire lawyers for that. You do not waste your time slogging through law school. You might take some business law classes, because, especially the early classes can teach you a lot of useful information. But, the technically thick classes, are almost worthless. You, the entrepreneur are never going to need to know specific legal knowledge. So, from a wealthy person's point of view, Card-ass-ian is just wasting her time, and that is something that all wealthy people avoid like the plague. Their time is VERY precious.
You are being taught on all these entertainment and social media platforms about how to act rich. What "being rich" looks like. All this is, is to convince you to be consumers. To spend too much money on clothes (to make you look "rich"), houses, cars… That, of course, you should finance all of these (wasting money and losing your life). And, then, you will "look rich" and be completely broke.
The actual wealthy rarely flaunt their wealth.
People are often attracted to fame. They believe that with fame giving them a higher status, they would attract the opposite sex, and be liked by more people.
Unfortunately, it usually doesn't work. The woman you are trying to get to notice you, isn't going to notice you more if you have a fancy car. (if she is slightly attracted to you, then maybe) But, really, if the women are interested in your for the car, it is the car, and not you. Meaning, if you ever lose the ability to make the payments, you also lose the woman.
And what people (who aren't a narcissist) have said about fame is that it isn't worth it. It doesn't attract better people, it attracts the worst people. It is a pain in the ass. Being recognized everywhere you go is a really large inconvenience.
So, most wealthy people find that it is best to not flaunt their wealth. Most people who have the ability to make lots of money have the ability to put off reward. And this is the same ability that allows them to turn aside from fame.
Really, the only reason to look rich is if you are trying to sell to people. The Card-ass-ians are trying to sell to you, to affect your future purchases. Especially to make you want to give up your money buying shit, and to even go into debt to get da bling
I would like to say that it is just envy, but there's something more going on. It is that the poor and middle class are really hurting. And the rhetoric going around is that it is because the rich aren't paying their fair share. The poor feel like the rich are taking from everyone else. That they only reason that they are rich, is because of some form of nefarious activity.
The poor do not see that in order to get wealthy, you have to provide something that people will spend money for. You have to give more than you get. But the poor do not see this. They are lied to in school, and in every commercial you have ever seen. So, it would be hard for them to see it, even when it is pointed out to them.
What is easy to see is that those rich people have more than they do. And that their life would be better if they had all that money. So, with envy + hardship + advertising saying "eat the rich", people are getting very upset with "the rich"
Sooo, if you are wealthy, really work on never flaunting it. Do not advertise your wealth. Do not tell anyone about how much you have. Not your friends, not your family, and maybe not even your wife.
Wealthy people can afford any car they want. (mostly) However, they usually buy something reasonable, and RELIABLE and often used.
Broke people finance Range Rovers, wealthy people buy used Toyotas.
People who are trying to impress buy McMansions, wealthy people rarely buy anything more than what they need. One extra bedroom is nice for a visiting guest, multiple extra bedrooms is just a waste of time, space and money. You've got to clean those things (time) even if no one is using them. However, if you are doing entertaining, in your home, than large rooms make that easier. Most of the wealthy who had large houses, were using them to sell.
One of the big things that wealthy people do, is they do not sit on repairs that need to be done. If the place needs a new roof, they get several quotes and have someone fixing it efficiently.
So, you really do not want to flaunt your wealth in this time. You do not want people to come specifically target your place when they get desperate. Further, you really do not want to have the hassle of dealing with your friends and family asking for money all the time.
When you get your crypto millions, avoid buying the Lambo, unless it is a Lambo tractor
Because, soon, people will be targeting you if they see you driving a fancy sports car. Further, as govern-cements shut down, there will be fewer nicely paved roads for you to drive your fancy car upon. If we do not turn this around, we may be needing 4x4s to drive down most streets.
So, get wealthy, crypto wealthy, and protect yourself.
