Scorum Moved To The COSMOS Ecosystem

brianphobos - 2024-08-02 03:01:18

Scorum was a STEEM Clone from the 2018 ICO boom era that was marketed for sports and gaming. https://scorum.com/en-us/profile/@brianphobos

I had created an account and would periodically blog there as well and for the first time ever I was technically able to get a payout because I had built up power in that system but then they totally lost liquidity or trading on any exchange so they ended up building a Scorum Network on the COSMOS ecosystem.

If you want to get more insight on how to recover your coins and transfer them to COSMOS you can check the last several blogs from the official Scorum account.

One of the things that isn't really explained after you do some of the stuff in the blog is that you have to transfer the SCR from the Scorum Network to the Osmosis Network because the trading pools are on Osmosis.

Then once you trade to something like ATOM you would need to withdraw from the Osmosis network to the Cosmos base ecosystem to then transfer the ATOM to an exchange like Kraken.

What Can You Do With SCR If You Don't Want To Sell It?

Well the old DPoS blogging setup doesn't have a reward pool so you aren't going to get paid to blog. It seems like the Betting Platform is still going. Mainly soccer games. https://betscorum.com/

Also they came out with a new game where you try to guess how long an airplane stays in the air but they blocked US IP addresses for that.

The game is called Aviatrix. Pro tip is there is a free built in VPN in the Opera browser. https://www.opera.com/
