The fed in the USA has been decreasing interest rates however if anything has been proven in history the Fed often lowers this too soon and inflation comes back worse than ever. If there's another rate decrease in December it should spell higher inflation numbers for 2025 which is also a good sign as people will most likely be more inclined to flood into assets like bitcoin, gold and silver once again as a hedge against that inflation.
While you might look at it and thine a 0.2% rise in CPI isn't much the reality is that it is. Inflation is still well over that 2% target and banks interest rates are still not paying enough to cover interest rates. Thus meaning people with money fiat in savings are slowly losing buying power the longer it sits in there.
This is why most people will tell you to invest as it's the only way to beat inflation and actully build wealth. While it's more risky the important factor is you much always beat inflation with your investments. Being that inflation is close to 3% you need to be making and keeping (that's the key here) 3.1% or more in order to be growing your wealth.
