There's a lot of speculation right now that crypto such as bitcoin that's locked up in a wallet won't be lost due to quantum computers being able to hack and get into wallets. But if that's the case wouldn't that also mean ever wallet is no longer secure?
This double edge sword in terms of the lost bitcoin coming back into circulation would actually be a rather massive amount of at least 1 million but many speculate that the current lost amount of bitcoin could be as high as 4 to 6 million. This would inject a massive amount of new bitcoin but most likely only one entity would own it whoever cracked the wallet
